In a career of over 20 years I have gained experience in a wide variety of architectural projects including public, commercial and residential buildings, and ranging from large-scale master planning projects to the intimate scale of single-family homes. Throughout this time I have always been drawn to the challenges and delights of residential design.
Working in a number of leading firms as well as my own practice, my responsibilities have extended to all aspects of architectural consulting from programming and pre-design studies to site analysis, conceptual design, contract documents and construction-phase services. Architecture is both an art and a science, and I always strive for design solutions that are innovative and expressive, as well as being practical and technically sound. Creative spark and keen analysis are both essential to good design. A collaborative attitude and good communication skills are necessary for successful teamwork.
